The USDA Wants Your Comments- By March 1

The USDA wants your comments about the 2018 Farm Bill.

The USDA is seeking public input regarding the 2018 Farm Bill. According to the USDA, it will accept written comments through March 1, 2019. To submit comments, go to the Federal eRulemaking Portal at http://www.regulations.gov and search for Docket ID USDA–2019–0001. Follow the online instructions for submitting comments.

I chose to submit comments on testing methodology, which you can read below. (Note: You can read all about hemp testing issues by clicking here.)

You have a voice and the USDA wants to hear it. Please take 10-15 minutes to tell the USDA what you think.

  1. Very well written, Rod. And you comments regarding GC are spot on. If testing is mandated with GC, it might very well harm otherwise innocent farmers and reduce yield on their farms. I’ll write my own letter today. 🙂
