What does the marijuana industry have against the industry? For me, the simple answer is have industry got a free pass with very little regulation while The recreational and the medical industry had to raise a ton of money and go to leaps and bounds to get medical marijuana and recreational marijuana on the ballot. They succeeded. Many investors that hoped to stake a claim and get in on the green wave quickly found that hemp markets were reaping huge profits while investing nearly $0.
To conclude, I think they are at odds because they had to not only design the hurdles to get over, They had to tell the federal government how to enforce it. The federal government failed their effort and they are now deciding to leave it to the states. The states are all over the board with self regulating factors and scrupulous players that take advantage of the obvious loopholes and lack of concern by local authorities.
So indeed, where recreational and medical cannabis investors had to pay to play…… Hemp venture capitalist were able to swoop in for boat loads of money whilst selling the same products for all practical purposes under the rules for hemp.
The cats out of the bag now the only thing really fixed. The issue is fully legalization and implementation of structure that works.
Thank you for all you do Rod, Industry needs players that know how to play defense. And you are our number one draft pick for the entire industry as far as I’m concerned thanks again
