NC Industrial Hemp bill is now law
I’m pleased to announce that NC Senate Bill 313 (Industrial Hemp) became law on October 31, 2015. Governor McCrory didn’t have the guts to sign it, despite initially signaling his support. Nonetheless, he did not veto it and it became law over the Halloween weekend. Please click on the link below to see the official press release from our good friends at the North Carolina Industrial Hemp Association. And stay tuned because I’ll be delving into the new rules and licensing requirements as they are enacted by the Industrial Hemp Commission during the next several months.
