Melissa Schiller of Cannabis Business Times reached out to me last month to discuss hemp certification and published an article about it this month. You can read it by clicking here.

The article arose out of an open letter I wrote regarding the Hemp Authority’s certification program. The letter was followed by an invitation to attend a meeting in Anaheim with the Hemp Authority and co-signors of the open letter. The meeting resulted in a retooling of the certification program (still underway).

As the hemp industry continues to grow the issue of certification becomes more important. I encourage you to learn more about it and share your input with legislators, regulators, and your state’s hemp association.
