Rod Discusses Cannabis and Psychedelics on “How To Launch An Industry” Podcast

Rod discusses cannabis and psychedelics on the “How to Launch an Industry” podcast by Marcu & Arora.

I always enjoy having intelligent discussions about cannabis and psychedelics with knowledgeable and engaging people. For this reason, I was thrilled to participate as a guest on the “How To Launch An Industry” podcast hosted by my friends, cannabis and psychedelic researchers and consultants, Dr. Jahan Marcu and Dr. Nigam Arora. My co-guests were Dr. Sara Jane Ward, assistant professor of pharmacology at Temple University, and David Vaillencourt, CEO of the GMP Collective.

During the podcast, we discussed the dichotomy between patenting psychedelics compounds and promoting free and open research, the complexities of South American cannabis in Europe, and the 12,000 year old relationship between humans and psychedelics. Additionally, we engaged in “rapid fire science” and looked at the side by side comparison of two hallucinogenic substances and how well various cannabinoids permeate the skin. We concluded the show by playing the 20 questions style game, “Guess the Psychedelics or Cannabis Research Institute”.
