Rod Discusses Hemp in NC with Charlotte NPR (Podcast)

I was a guest this morning on the Charlotte NPR station WFAE (90.7 FM), where I discussed the current state of hemp and cannabis in North Carolina (NC) on the “Charlotte Talks” podcast. The discussion was led by Mike Collins and produced by Gabe Altieri. I was joined by two hemp industry experts, Bert James an agronomist and principal of Regenerate, and Dr. Guochen Yang, professor at NC A&T University and former NC Industrial Hemp Commissioner. Our hour-long talk ranged widely, from the history of hemp prohibition to fiber markets to the hemp crash to CBD and THC to the future of hemp and marijuana in NC.

You can listen to the podcast below.

You can also listen to the podcast on the WFAE webpage by clicking here. I had a great time. Thanks to WFAE, Gabe Altieri, Mike Collins, Bert James, and Dr. Guochen Yang.
